What You’ll Do

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will be:
Sourcing & qualifying quality leads for the firm’s NetSuite business application practice using various platforms, to do so interacting by phone and email with key personnel up to, and including, C-Level Executives
Uncovering & qualifying prospective customer needs.
Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting
Work directly with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads
Be the first contact for prospects of NetSuite business via inbound calls. Qualifies potential NetSuite prospects via tools like e-mail, LinkedIn, phone, etc., and produces quality leads for the firm. Performs database and record keeping activities.
The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyze business development success. This individual will schedule meetings with clients in order to understand their needs.
Preferred Skills/Experience
0 – 1 year of professional full-time work experience, excluding internships, research and/or teaching assistant roles, and military experience.
BA/BS degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Able to demonstrate time management, basic tele sales skills, and willingness to learn basic knowledge of financial, ERP or other ancillary business application products and services (training provided)
Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment.
Professional demeanor
Desire for a long-term career in sales with growth into an Account Executive role after an initial 9-12 month BDR role
Able to gain competence leveraging the training, self-paced and instructor led through Oracle NetSuite and acquire a higher level understanding of role, processes, and procedures
