Senior Cloud DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

Detailed Description and Job Requirements:

As a Senior Cloud DevOps Infrastructure Engineer, you should have:

  • 10 + years of managing enterprise infrastructure

  • 5 + years of strong, hands-on experience on AWS and/or Azure environments

  • 5 + years hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using HashiCorp Terraform

  • 5 + years of cloud migrations and high proficiency in IaaS, PaaS,  SaaS environments

  • Strong operational implementation experience or working knowledge of cloud identity and access management solutions enforcing security guidelines

  • Demonstrated experience in providing expert guidance building highly available/fault-tolerant enterprise infrastructure with multiple-region and multi AZ models

  • Demonstrated experience of migrating critical workloads to public cloud and providing on-going operations support

  • Serve as SME on building, implementing hybrid cloud architecture, Data Center Migrations strategy, and Security & compliance frameworks

  • Extensive hands-on experience working with AWS Services including but not limited to IAM, EC2, S3, ELB/ALB, RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache, ECS/EKS …

  • Extensive experience in building dashboards using native solutions such as CloudWatch/CloudTrail, SNS solutions to meet real-time operational monitoring needs

  • Strong working knowledge of server-less technologies, such as AWS Lambdas, Azure functions and cloud native tools/technologies

  • Experience in setting up DevOps infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline implementation strategy to drive automated build management using GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Code Commit, Code Pipeline and Code build services

  • Proficiency in installing and managing systems, applications and environments on RedHat, Amazon Linus, Ubuntu, and Windows

  • Working knowledge of Elastic Container Services (ECS) and Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS).

  • The primary activities will be to support administration of AWS Environments, develop infrastructure as code (IaC) develop repeatable procedures and provide insight into best practices on integration, automated environmental configurations within the AWS cloud

 Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include building highly available infrastructure model, implementing security best practices, designing enterprise monitoring and logging capabilities in alignment with the enterprise cloud strategy.  The cloud engineer will provide automation.

Education:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
